Alain has more than thirty-five (35) years of experience in management and business development in the fields of information technologies and economic development. During his career, he participated to the creation of several technology companies or economic development organizations either as a manager, chairman or board member. Among other projects, he has been the executive director of the Québec Metro High Tech Park, where he contributed directly to the establishment of 67 news companies. Alain is president and CEO of Technopôle Defence and Security since its creation in 2005.

Gilles Y. Delisle
Director – Technology Integration Centre (TIC)

With his renowned expertise in telecommunications, Gilles occupied several university teaching and research functions during his career. He was Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Laval University for 28 years and Director of INRS-Telecommunications, before joining University of Ottawa as a Director and Professor at the School of Information Technology and Engineering. Gilles was also named Vice-President Research at the International Institute of Telecommunications in July 2004. He supervised the work of over a hundred graduate and post-graduate students over the last 30 years and he has been inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame of Telecommunications in October 2007. In 2008, Gilles joined TDS to lead the Technology Integration Centre implementation.

Aude-Emmanuelle Fleurant
Market Analyst

Aude-Emmanuelle worked nearly fifteen years at Groupe Ressource sur l’Industrie Militaire et la Securité (GRIMS) affiliated with UQAM, being in charge of analysis. Mainly specialized in North American Defence and Security markets and industries, she also has a great knowledge of government policies. At GRIMS, she accomplished several projects of market and major programs monitoring. She also collaborated on the development of technological monitoring and evaluation of corporate strategies. Aude-Emmanuelle is currently completing her Doctoral Thesis on the evolution of approaches by the government of the United States of America, Britain, Canada and Australia regarding the defence economy since the 1990’s. Her expertise is now put to good use for the benefits of TDS’s members.
