The International Personal Armour Committee (IPAC) is pleased to announce that PASS 2010 will be held for the first time in North-American soil, at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Québec City on September 13-17, 2010.

PASS 2010 offers an outstanding opportunity to share views and experiences in the field of personal armour systems in an operational environment. Participants include representatives from defence research organizations, industry, military and police as well as academic researchers.

Experts will present the results of the latest research, and panel discussions will allow inputs from participants. Symposium subjects include:

DRDC-TEN NETWORK- Electronic Warfare

DRDC Ottawa’s Technology Exploitation Office is pleased to announce the creation of a network of business associates who will meet to share up-to-date information related to business development opportunities.

This network of DRDC Ottawa and associates will meet regularly at the DRDC Ottawa Shirleys Bay campus. The mission of the network is to accelerate the transition and delivery of the DRDC Ottawa based R&D technology, services and advanced development models to the DND client through technology transfer and commercialization activities.

Membership is open to employees of Canadian companies who have been cleared to a minimum of SECRET. Membership is required to attend the TEN meetings.
