Following a meeting taking place In Long Island, New York, on August 14th, representatives from Technopôle Defence & Security, CRIM and COEI signed a collaboration agreement.
According to TDS President and CEO Alain Fecteau, “This is a major step and this will allow TDS and its members to find new research and industrial partners south of the border”.
Indeed, the agreement states the establishments of a “valuable mechanism for identification of possible modes and areas of cooperation in order to promote mutually beneficial, inter-institutional cooperation and exchanges.”
COEI is a major player in the Homeland Security field in New York and in the United States. Some of the world’s biggest organizations are among its 26 partners and residents, including BAe Systems and Northrop Grumman.
